Last week a friend spent a day at my house
ReplyDeleteLast week my friend Rebecca Azzopardi came to spend a day at my house. She came to my house because her parents had a wedding and beacuse my mother is a friend with hers. She arrived at ten o'clock in the morning.
First we went in the yard and we played hide and seek and more games. When we were about to play a game called catch it started raining.We went indoors and I showed her around my house. We played some indoor game and we went on the computer to play some computer games. We didn't mean to stay indoors but becaue it was raining we couldn't stay outside.
At round about noon we wached television and a D.V.D
that Rebecca had brought. We studied together because the day after we had a test about Maths. The night came and her parents came to pick Rebecca up. I said goodbye to Rebecca and they went.
I enjoyed myself very much and I'm looking forward to spend another day with my friend. I love my best friend and the she loves me as much.

Last week a friend came over
ReplyDeleteLast Saturday my friend, Darren, spent a day at my house. He came because his parents had an errand. He arrived at about nine o’clock in the morning and brought with him a DVD for us to watch.
When he arrived we played with my dog, Brownie. We went into our backyard and played fetch. After that we tried to play football but my dog always managed to catch the ball. Darren enjoyed playing with my dog because he doesn’t have one. Round about noon mother called us in to wash our hands and have lunch. My father cooked Darren’s favourite dish which also happens to be mine. The dish was chicken burgers in a bun and some chips.
After lunch we saw the DVD that Darren brought with him. It was called Ice age 3. Afterwards we spent one hour playing computer games. We did not go to the yard because we would disturb the neighbours that were sleeping with Brownie barking and us laughing. In the morning mu8m baked a cake and we went in to have a slice and a big glass of milk.
It was his first time at my house and he is looking forward to come again as he enjoyed himself very much. Brownie and I were very sad that he was leaving at six o’clock in the afternoon.

Last week my friend spent day at my house because his parents were both busy at work. He was very excited to spend the day with me. We picked him up from his house in the morning.
ReplyDeleteHe brought his PSP and some playstation games. As soon as we arrived home, we set up a tent on the roof to stay in later. We played football and after we swum in our swimming pool we have in our yard we took a shower.
After the shower we took a glass of water and watched a film on T.V. At lunch we ate my friend’s favourite dish which is pasta and a piece of cake for dessert. After that we took our psps in the tent and played there. Then my friend taught me how to play a new game on the computer. It was very interesting.
I know that my friend really enjoyed his stay. At nine o’clock in the evening we heard the doorbell. It was my friend’s parents so my friend had to go. I felt sad and so did my friend.

ReplyDeleteLast week I invited my friend to stay for a day at my house because he was going to move to another country. He came on foot because he lived a stone throw away. He came at nine in the morning and he brought a DVD.
In the morning, first we studied and we did our H.W. We helped my parents and then we watched a DVD named `The Mummy`. It was an exciting film. We played computer games and we played with my dog. Then my brother joined us while we played football. Then we ate a pizza together.
We slept in my bedroom for half an hour. Then we read some books. Then we were going to play on the computer but all the lights went off. An idea popped in my head. My brother had a camp and I decided to make a camp in the garden. I had a torch and we read more books with the torch. Then the light came and we watched a DVD. Then when it was half past nine his parents came and picked him up.
It was my first time to invite a friend and it was my first time to camp. We enjoyed ourselves. I look forward to invite another friend.

ReplyDeleteLast Saturday, it was my birthday. My mother came to woke me and when I opened my eyes I saw my friend. My parents called him to come to my house as a surprise. He told me that he arrived at seven o’clock and came with his father’s yellow car. My friend’s name is Ronald.
From his house he brought a D.V.D, a green tent and a book called The Red Badge of Courage. We went down stairs and I ate my breakfast. We offered him a sandwich but he told us that he ate at his house. Then we went to the T.V. and we saw the D.V.D that he brought from his house. When it finished we decided to play with my play station and I allowed him to choose a game that he wanted. He told me Call of Duty because he likes war games and war stories.
At noon we ate meat, my friend’s favourite food and mine too. After that we helped my mother to wash the dirty plates. When we were ready we went to my room and there we read our books. Then we studied some English notes and then we asked each other the questions that we have studied. At night time we made a barbecue for my birthday. We pitched the tent and we ate our food there.
When his parents came to pick him up he told me that he is looking forward to come again and he invited me to go over to his house.

Last week my friend Deborah came to my house. She arrived early in the morning. Deborah brought something with her and as I could see it was wrapped up in fancy paper.
ReplyDeleteIt was eight o'clock in the morning when the alarm clock rang. I woke up and before my eyes I saw Deborah. What a surprise ! Mum had invited her because it was my birthday. I was so happy that with my excitment I fell of my bed. Deborah took out a very big present from her bag. I tore off the wrapping paper like I was hungry. She gave me the P.S.P (play station portable) and the "Star Wars" board game. Afterwards we went in the garden to take some fresh air and warm up. Then we pleaded mum if we could do some gardening. My mother, who is very fond of her flowers, didn't let us. But she said we could plant our own flowers and have a part of the garden of ourselves. Later we went indoors and played on the computer.
At noon we had tea together. I enjoy tea time because I like to nibble the little biscuits and sometimes have cherries and delicious cakes and sweets that soften and melt in your mouth. We went to rest for half an hour and we helped each other in homework. Then Deborah wanted to play "hide and seek". I really had fun because if you are with Deborah you are always on the go. Then we went into the yard and jumped and splashed in the pool.There was water everywhere. It was a great mess. It was getting dark and we went in. Deborah taught me some very horrible practical jokes. We took some snacks while we watched a scary movie.
At last her parents came to take her. I was a little bit sad because we really had fun and time passed quickly. When you're having fun you don't see the time fly. She asked me if I would like to go over to her house someday . She really enjoyed herself and was really looking forwards for this day to come.

Last Saturday my friend Alistair came at my house.He came because his mum had a meeting as his father was in Paris my mum suggested that he come to our house.At nine o'clock he came at my house.He brought with him a game and his wii.
ReplyDeleteFist my mum cooked us a delicious breakfast.After that we went to scrub the yard because it was full of leaf litter.Then we went and had a bath.We went in the living room and watched a film.My dog Spiky stayed with us.After watching T.V. we went and read my favourite book.It was so interesting that we went and searched for some information from the internet.
At noon my mum called us to go to have the meal that she had cooked for us.We told her about the book we had read.When we ate our meal we washed the plates.Then we played on the wii.After that we went and had a bath then we went in my bedroom and had a nap.After and hour my mum came and woke us up.We went in the orchard to cut fruits and eat them.Then we played hide and seek.It began to rain cats and dogs so we went in and played on my table soccer.
At eight o'clock Alistair's mum came.It was my first time that a friend came in my house so i was a little bit sad when Alistair had to leave.
My friend Tamsyn came over to my house last week because it was my birthday. Her parents brought her at seven o'clock in the morning.When I woke up I found her staring at me.She brought her dog with her. Her dog played really well with my dog.
ReplyDeleteAt first we played on the computer. We even played with my dolls and her dolls too.We read some books together. Then we went outside in my yard and there we built a tent which I had. We had lots of fun in my tent. We played ther for three hours with our dolls.Tamsyn's dog came in my tent and my dog followed Tamsyn's dog.
At afternoon we slept for a little while and then we watched a movie called Wizard of Weaverly Place the movie At eight o'clock we went down for dinner. We ate some pasta which mum cooked it especially for Tamsyn. At last we played a video game an my brother's play station 2 called The Simson Road Rage.
Tamsyn had a really great time although it was her fifth time. I was looking forward to it because it was my first time .Tamsyn asked me over to her house. I had really fun.It was the greatest birthday I ever had.

ReplyDeleteLast week my friend spent a day at my house.He had to come to my home because his mother was sick and his father was taking care of her.He walked to my house because he is my neighbour.He arrived at nine o' clock in the morning.When he knocked the door and opened it, I saw that he was holding a dog in his hands.
First we did our homework together.We had to do our Maths homework.It was a bit hard but we finished it.Then we went to read a book that the teacher told us to read.Then we studied our English notes.
At noon we went to eat our favourite food spaghetti.It was really delicious.Then we went out in the backyard to play football.His dog was playing too.He was a good player so he won the game.After a while my older brother joined us.When we were tired we went too see T.V.In the afternoon we played on the computer.
At quarter past nine he had to go home.He enjoyed himself at my house.He said he would look forward to come again and said that one day I should go to his home.

Last week a friend of mine spent a day at my house. Tiffany came over to my house because her father was out of town and her mother was working till late at night. She came over at about seven o`clock in the morning.
ReplyDeleteWe had breakfast together and afterwards we helped my mother to clear the table and make the beds. Tiffany and I wanted to play some computer games. But all of a sudden the lights went off so we had to go down stairs to play some board games. We were enjoying playing the game but we had to stop playing so we could go and have our lunch.
In the afternoon we decided to camp in my back yard. While we were preparing the things we needed it started raining cats and dogs and we couldn`t camp outside. So we decided to watch a D.V.D as the lights came on again. Afterwards we went for some tea and we spent the rest of the day making crafts and playing with my younger brother.
The day passed quickly and her mother came to pick her up. My wish is that she will come again another day.

ReplyDeleteLast week my best friend Nicole came to spend a day at my home.In the morning my dad and I went to bring her home.When we arrived my mum was preparing us a cake and some tea.Quickly Nicole and I took the cake and the tea.
Then we went on the computer.When we were playing unfortunately the light went off.But nicole likes to jump from roof to roof so we went on the roof.After that we went to swim in my swimming pool in the back yard of the house.
Fortunately my mum came to tell us that the light had come back and we went again on the computer.After lunch we had a nap.When we got up,we had some cake and tea again.At the end of the day we stayed watching some cartoons.
At last Nicole asked me so one day I would go to her house.I accepted her offer and I promised her that I would go.

ReplyDeleteLast week i had a very special day. At about eight o clock in the morning my friend Maylea came over to my house.She brought with her a whole bag,even her red camp was there.
The first thing we did was playing uno as it is our favourite game.Then we did our english homework together and we also read a book.Then at about ten o clock we ate an English breakfast that left us full for the whole day.Right after she opened her camp in the yard.That was so fun!We played in it Monopoly and we slept until one o clock.Then we watched the television series 'Zack and Cody' and Hannah Montana.
After these programmes finished we went on the roof to play with my dog fluffy and cuddly dog Rico.Maylea almost fell to catch the ball before Rico.Then we decided to do some crafts together just before we could play on the computer after my brother.On the computer we had lots of fun playing games and scoop for Ibn Batuta on the Wikipedia.At four o clock she started packing up so that there wouldn t be such many thigs lying around the house.We had also pumped up our lilos and the beach ball because we had jumped in the roof top pool.We almost spent three hours in the pool.Then we took a shower and just after that we were ready the door bell rang and she went off.
We spent a very nice day together.We look foward for another day together jumping in the pool.I hope we will do this again in about two more weeks more!

ReplyDeleteLast week my friend Tiffany came for a day at my house.Her mother went to her first day at work and her dad had a meeting with his co-wokers.When she arrived it was ten o' clock.She came to my house on foot because she lives near me.

First thing in the morning together we went study in my room so my brother wouldn't disturb us.Then after an hour we went to play monopoly and some other board games.Next we went to watch T.V.On T.V we found nothing suitable for us so we watched a DVD about Hannah Montana who is our favourite artist.
After wards we went to eat down stairs. Mum prepared us a pizza Margerita and some ice-cream.Then I decided that we should go outside in our yard to play with my brother with the ball.We tried doing a basket ball match too and then we refreshedour selves with fresh orange juice.
We had so much fun together.Everybody knows that when you're having fun time flies.And that was what happened to us. It was her first time at my house.We looked foward for this day to happen.Her mother came to pick her and she asked me if I want to go to her house the following Sunday we agreed that it was my turn to go. I can't wait for Sunday!

ReplyDeleteIt was a public holiday and my friend Roanne came to spend the day at my house.I told her not to bring any DVDs because I have lots.Instead she brought a cake for dessert.
She arrived at nine o'clock.I still had some homework to finish so we did it together.We studied then we were ready to start playing.We played UNO and Roanne won.My sister wanted to play so we added her to the game.The second time I won.We played dominoes once or twice.Afterwards we played snakes and ladders and I ended up going down the same ladder over and over.Finally we found out that the winner was my sister.
My mum came from shopping and we helped her carry the bags.We ate pasta and we couldn't wait to start desert.When we finished we decided to watch the DVD Charloitte's Web.As soon as it finished we played for about two hours because we were having a blast.All of a sudden the lights went off.We went on the balcony and talked until the electricity came back.Then we continued playing hide and seek.
Time flies when you're having fun.I was really disappointed when Roanne's parents came.She said that maybe someday I should go to her house.I am really looking forward to it.

ReplyDeleteIt was my birthday and my parents seemed to have forgotten. "This is the worst birthday ever!" I thought and went to sleep. The next morning I saw a strange figure sleeping on the floor.It seemed very familiar...
It was my friend!I tried not to wake him up and it worked.I went downstairs and my mum was making breakfast:bacon and eggs.She invited him herself!I went to wake him up and he was very happy to see me.In the morning we played some video games,he was winning.As a joke I told him that he was lucky to win.It was my favourite game:"FLIPNIC".
I was making a small version of table soccer out of paper, paint, crayons, clean butter boxes, cardboard, tape and foil. And guess what...he helped me finish it and I let him play with me with it. As we were going to set up a camp in my garden to play "Adventures" it started raining. Seeing all of this we decided to study and read. We studied for the test that we had on Monday and we read a very interesting book called "Dinosaur World".
We had a barbecue on my roof and everyone couldn't wait for the steaks, lamb chops and my favourite sausages and chips. He enjoyed his stay a lot and his parents came to pick him up. My mum told me she was sorry to forget to make me a cake and I told her:"It's okay mum, my friend's stay was enough. I was wrong this was the BEST birthday ever!!

Last week a friend spent a day at my house
ReplyDeleteEarly in the morning the bell rang and I woke up shocked. I heard my friend’s voice. It was Gainluca. I went with a rush to put on my clothes and arrange my hair. Then I went to the door. My parents told me that he was going to spent a day at our house “OK” I accepted with joy.
In the morning first I showed him around the house and my room. Then we went in the yard. There he meet my dog nikita. Then came my brother with spiky hair and pyjamas. When he saw my friend he run to his bedroom to wear his normal clothes. After wards we went to play with my new psp and then we played in the garden with my dog. Gainluca is very interested in football so we had a football match. We were enjoying ourselves when my mother shouted “breakfast time” and we ate and after played computer for the rest of the time.
At noon we ate pasta and soup. Then we went to study and read interesting books and magazines. At about four o’clock we thought up a craft and we made a short puppet show. At six o’clock we played monopoly against each other; me, him and my brother. The time ran quickly and my friend’s parents came. He said, “Goodbye” and left our house.
For me it was the first time to have a friend at home for one day. I enjoyed that day very much and I’m looking forward for another day like this one.

I was longing to have a friend invited over to my house for over two years. It was 11o'clock and I was in bed, sleeping. My parents have not forgotten my birthday that was the next day. They called my friend's parents if they would let their child come over to my house. She arrived at midnight and she wasn't tired. She had brought her pet cat Kittens. They showed her me sleeping. Her name was Roanne
ReplyDeleteWhen my mother woke me up,I was glad that it was Saturday.The only thing making it strange was that my father was there too. He never came in my room with mum to wake me up. Their weird wide smiles began to puzzle me... and scare me.They said that they had a huge present that they couldn't wrap. I came and I saw my friend. I was breathless with happiness. She came with me to show me my breakfast and she was glad to come over and see my birthday. We had flapjacks with caramel syrup and butter on top. We watched the T.V and then played Catch with the cat.
My mother bought a funny DVD and we ate our favorite dish, pizza with salami. We then worked our homework and then studied for our annual exams. We then played computer. Then when it was late night, my parents shut off everything, the T.V, the DVD , the kitchen everything except the computer. We began walking slowly and then saw an orange light coming from the kitchen. It was a big kitchen so the light was a little weak. We went there and in a flash, my parents sang me happy birthday and gave me a lot of presents and then at ten o'clock her parents came.
We waved each other goodbye and she said to drop in at her house instead because she enjoyed it.This was her best day at another friend's house. This was my best and first day with a friend at my house and my parents made my wish come true.

Last week a friend spent a day at my house
ReplyDeleteLast week Emily came to my house because her parents were both busy so instead of staying alone she decided to come to my house. We decided to meet at eight o’ clock and her father dropped her at my house with their own car because she lives far away. Emily brought Max , her black and white cat.
We helped my mum in her house keeping. After helping out we decided to play with the ball in the yard. As it started to rain we went inside and played with Nora and Max our cats. Afterwards we gave them a fresh bath and brushed them. Later on the cats were so tired they quickly fell a sleep and we ran up the stairs in my room and played with our Nintendo Ds and some computer games. After playing so much with our Nintendo Ds they ran out of charge so we put on charge and we went on my bed to read a book.
As we were enjoying reading the book we didn’t realize what time it was when mum started calling us from down stairs. When we were in the kitchen we were surprised that the rain had stopped and we went to make a barbecue in the yard. Dad was already out preparing the barbeque and mum told us that we were making burgers, sausages and fries, our favourite food. After we were so full we just sat down relaxing and said some funny jokes. Then we went in and had a fresh bath.
As it was Emily’s first day at my house she enjoyed herself very much and she is looking forward to come again. Before leaving she asked me to go to her house the next Saturday and afterwards her father came for her with his car.

Last week I invited Svetlana to stay for a day at my home .She was in front of the door at nine o’clock sharp. With her she brought a small cake to thank me for inviting her .When we saw each other we beamed with pleasure.
ReplyDeleteWe started watching Johnny Test on my favourite channel cartoonnetwork. We played some computer games like FIFA 09 and a lot of other exciting games .We had lots of fun playing together and we were in high spirits .We read an interesting book about a lovely horse called black beauty. We had an air of excitement to see how the book would end.
When we finished reading I heard my mother telling us that lunch was ready .we went straight to the kitchen and there we found Svetlana’s favourite dish which was pasta. We ate mouth watering food because my mother is a very good chef .Svetlana cracked many jokes and everyone laughed. We were as happy as a king. We all helped my mother to wash the plates. We went to the back yard and there we swam in our swimming pool. Time went by and we got out we noticed that it was round about six. At the exact time we heard a knock on the door .It was her father.
This was Svetlana’s first time to come over to my home an d I am sure that if I ask her to come again she will accept with eagerness .T his was a memorable day but every tide has its ebb and even that day came to an end.

Last week when it was Saturday ,my friend Celine came to my house because her parents had a wedding. Her parents brought her to my house by car.She arrived at around half past eight in the morning because her parents had to prepare for the wedding.She brought a D.V.D.
ReplyDeleteWhen she came we studied together and did our homework.As it was a very sunny day we planned to play in the garden in the afternoon.WE played computer games and board games too.Then we watched the D.V.D. Celine brought. The film's name was 'Aliens in the Attic'and it was avery film.In the afternoon we ate a pizza.We helped my mother by washing her the plates.We went in the garden and built a tent. In the tent we read a bedtime story.After we read the story we slept a bit because we were tired.We woke up at about three o'clock in the afternoon.We played a game of hide and seek and then her parents came. We felt a bit sad that the day was over because we really had fun.
It wasn't our first sleeping over together.She asked me over to sleep at her house once and we really enjoyed ourselves. She told me that i could go and sleep over at her house the next week. I am looking forward to this sleepover.

ReplyDeleteLast Sunday my friend Darryl spent the day at my house because his parents were at work. He arrived at about half past eight in the morning. Since he is my neighbour, he came on foot. He brought his homework to do together, his psp to play with, his tent, his trunks and his football.
First we had breakfast together because he didn’t get any at his house. Afterwards we did our homework together since we are in the same class. When we finished from our homework, we played on the computer. Later he wanted to play with the psp and I agreed. Then I wanted to watch some cartoons and he agreed.
At noon my mother prepared us some hotdogs and a jug of orange juice with two glasses to drink from. Afterwards we decided to go to play some matches of table tennis on the roof. Then we went to my little swimming pool to freshen up from that hot day. It was soon three o’clock and we played some football in the yard with his ball. Then my younger sister came and we played hide and seek in the garden. It was dinner time and my mother cooked fish because it was Darryl’s and my favourite dish. Since it was setting dark we built his tent and put a mattress and two pillows inside. There we played monopoly while eating some fruit. Time passed quickly and his parents came to take my friend home.
We enjoyed that day. It was his first time that he came over to my house but it will not be his last one. Darryl told me that he enjoyed himself a lot and asked me to sleep over at hi house someday. I told him that I will look forward to it.

ReplyDeleteLast week I called my friend Polly and asked her to come over to my house. Her parents were going to a night party. At eight o’clock the bell rang. It was Polly. Polly brought a bag. She had a lot of things in it like chocolates, dolls, DVD, books and all sort of things.
First I showed Polly around my house. We ran up the stairs and went into my room. My mum prepared pop corn so we could watch a movie. Polly took out her dolls and we started playing. When the popcorn was ready my mum told to go down. We went to the living room and put a DVD in the DVD player.
After the film we played basketball in my yard. Then we put on swimsuit and went swimming in my pool. At noon we had a bath and my mum called us to go to the dining room. After we had lunch we went up into my room and had a nap. At four o’clock we woke up. We decided to play computer games. My little seven year old sister wanted to join us. We each had a turn playing on the computer. At six o’clock my father was painting a big box to put un-wanted stuff in it. We each grabbed a can of paint and started painting. When we were about to finish there was a mess! I painted a piece in red, my dad painted a piece in blue, my sister painted a piece yellow and Polly…well, Polly painted a piece of it in green. At 8 o’clock we had dinner. After we brushed our teeth, we put our pyjamas and went straight to bed. At ten o’clock Polly’s parents came to pick her up. She thanked my mother and father and went home.
We had a great time. It was my first time that I invited Polly over but it won’t be the last. She asked me to come over and I really looking forward to go.

ReplyDeleteLast week Alistair came for a day at my house because both of his parents were working until night.Alistair came on foot because he lives a stone throw`s away.He arrived first thing in the morning at about eight o`clock.Alistair brought his psp and some xbox games to play together.
The first thing we did is we went on the roof so he could help me clean the aviary and feed the birds.After we went on the roof we sat down on the sofa and played Call of Duty 5.While we were playing my mum told us to come to eat and i felt like I only played for five minutes as time flies when you`re having fun.
After we ate dinner we went to take a nap.It was a good thing i had an extra bed.After we had a nap we played on my dad`s and my computer by playing against each other.It was fun as he won twice and i won three times but it was`t fair for Alistair because I`m an expert at Medieval Total War two so we came draw because I dropped one off my score.
It was our first time spending this day together but every beginning has an end.Alister told me that he was on tenterhooks waiting for this day.He asked me to go to his house sometimes.It was a time for him to go because his parents had arrived.What a wonderful day it was!

ReplyDeleteLast Saturday my best friend Daniel came to spend a whole day with me at my house!This happened because his parents were invited to a wedding in the morning.They dropped him at my house at ten in the morning.
At it was a rainy day we decide to stay inside.As this was his first time to my house I showed him around.He was very impressed with our beautiful and big hoouse as he lives in a small flat.We spent the rest of the morning playing comuter games until mum told us to go and have lunch.
In the afternoon we decided to read an interesting book which Daniel brought with him.Then we watched our favorite football team playing a league game on the television.We were so happy that our favorite team won.After we had tea and cakewhich mum did especially for us.
Time passed quickly and before we knew it his parents were ringing the bell of our front door.Before he left Daniel asked his parents if it would be possible to invite me to spend a day with him at his house.I was very happy with the day we spent together and with the fantastic idea Daniel had.
