ReplyDeleteThree weeks before Christmas, Mum and Dad decided to go Christmas shopping. Dad started the car and we went to Valletta. We arrived at Valletta and we started shopping.
First we went to the Embassy Shopping Complex inside Big Bon and as a present mum bought clothes for herself. After that we went to the Agenda Book shop. My parents bought me a book and a book for my brother. Then we went to buy Dad’s present. We went to the Vodafone shop and we bought a mobile for Dad. We bought a mobile for Dad. We bought some stamps and Christmas cards. We walked along the main street and there was a van with Christmas puddings and Dad struggled to buy some puddings because there were many people.
All the streets in Valletta were decorated with Christmas trees, Christmas fathers and a lot more. All the shops had discounted prices for Christmas. Then mum bought a present from a jewel shop for my grandma and grandpa and Dad did the same. At first they found it difficult to choose from which shop to buy a necklace.
My family keeps this a tradition and it wasn’t my first time to go Christmas shopping because I have to wait another year to go shopping for Christmas presents again. I enjoyed myself very much shopping.

ReplyDeleteLast Saturady i went shopping with my parents at Marks and Spencer.There were lots of ideas to choose from like sweets,clothes,toys and lots of other things.
First we bought twenty cards with snow flakeson them.Then there was a shelf full of wrapping papers.I bought six of them.Then i went to the next level.From there i bought my auntie's present.It was the perfume and shower gels level.I bought vanilla shower gel for me and lavender with soap for mum.
After that there was the clothes level.There was the new Winter collection.That was so cool.From there i bought a baggy top for my cousin Sandy and I did something else.I took a photo with Rudolph the nose reindeer and the Christmas father and all the photo money when for charity.
After we all went back home to wrap up the presents.It was so fun to buy all those presents even though some of them were expensive!!

ReplyDeleteIt was a day before Christmas Eve.We had to go shopping and buy presents for the family.We went with my dad's car.First we had to go to a supermarket.
We had to buy some food for Christmas dinner.First we had to take some ingredients for the pudding then for the salad and others.When I turned my face to look in a corner of the shop it was tightly packed.I went to see what it was.A man was giving free ice-cream and they were delicious.It was my favourite,chocolate.
After the supermarket we went to a clothes shop.Here we had to buy presents for the family.As we were walking to the clothes shop I heard something.It was a Christmas Father ringing a bell.I took a picture with him.When we were at the shop there were a lot of ideas to choose from but finally I decided.At last we went to the bookshop.I bought two books for myself.Their names were"Ben 10 The Alliance"and the other was"The Olympians".
When we got home I was sad.I wanted so badly to stay there.It was the best day ever.

ReplyDeleteIt was the 28th November when my mum and I went to Gallarija to buy Christmas presents.This was the first time and I knew I was going to have enjoy it.
The place was decorated especially for Christmas.I could see a lot of streamers,I could hear a lot of Christmas carols and could smell delicious puddings,cakes and logs.The whole place was packed!Everyone was pushing to reach for the gifts first.First I chose pyjamas for my sister.Mum bought her a jumper.We decided to go see what we could buy for the rest of the family.
No wonder the place was packed.There were slashed prices!We bought some lights for the Christmas Tree for just two Euros!I thought I deserved a present I found a book but if I bought it I wouldn't have enough money to buy more presents.We went to buy more presents.We went to buy shoes for Dad.When we bought all the gifts we needed,we had enough money to buy something but I couldn't decide!
Finally I decided to buy a 'Famous 5' book.I really enjoyed myself!Who knows what I will find under the Christmas Tree .But I still have to wait till the 25th December.

ReplyDeleteLast Christmas a few days before we went at Valletta to buy some presents, decorations and food for the Christmas party. So at nine o’clock in the morning my mum, dad, sister and I were there.
First we went in the Embassy shopping complex to buy some clothes and toys for my cousins. Dad and I went down the stairs to buy a present for my sister and mum, I decided to buy a doll for my sister and dad decided to buy a diamond ring for mum. While we were buying mum and sister were buying presents for us.
After we bought the presents we decided to go to a confectinery and while we were walking we heard a Christmas carol from the speakers in the street. We went in the confectionery and bought a pudding and a log because after all that smell of chocolate we decided to buy some. Then we went to the butcher to some turkey for the Christmas party we were going to do at my house.
This wasn’t my first time doing the Christmas shopping and as usual I enjoyed myself very much. I am very looking foward to give and open the presents and I hope that all of the people in the world will enjoy every Christmas

Three days ago I had the busiest day of my life. It was my first day to do Christmas Shopping. I went with my parents and brother to different shops.
We started by going at Valletta early. As we were walking along in a street we heared a Christmas carol and I started dancing to the rythm and a woman with a cigarette hit my paper. On it was written the list of things that I had to buy. The paper burned up and the only thing that I had left was the names of books for friends and me. Not all the shops were open. Lots of people were outside pushing each other. When a shop opened eager people went rushing inside and the shopkeeper was pushed aside. We started trying to remember the things as we went round the shop.
I had a headache and even more my father so he immediately went out of the shop. I started the the hard work of finding things. Mother couldn't find anything so she advised me to look after my brother and buy the things while she was in another shop to buy some traditonal food for Christmas. I had lots of choices while I was seeing all those lovely things. My brother and I pushed our way into the people to bring our things. Brother brought ten action-games for the playstation. He brought them for us and for our family cousins. I picked books for myself and then I chose some for my friends then we bought Christmas cards and paid the shopkeeper for all the things. Then we went into the next shop beside the first shop. It was a stationery. We bought more cards and when we paid the shopkeeper we saw Dad trying to choose which Christmas decorations were the most beautiful. Brother went into the infront door and helped mother carry the food while father and I bought the decorations for home and went with the others to the car.
Although I had a headache I'm still satisfied with my work. I have to remember that it was just my first day!

ReplyDeleteMy mother, father, sister and I have a tradition: we go Christmas shopping on the first of December. Last year we went to many shops like Main Street, Bay Street, Chain and €1 Family.
From Main Street we bought many clothes and toys as presents. For my cousin Glenn we chose a toy bike of Valentino Rossi because it is his favourite biker. We bought a jacket for my grandpa because he usually feels cold and for my uncle Frans we bought a helmet because his helmet is too small for him. From Bay Street we bought some books and jewellery. From a book shop we bought the last two books of Harry Potter for my sister because she is keen about his interesting books. For my mother we bought a marvelous ring because some time ago she had lost her ring and for my dad we bought a wonderful necklace because he loves to wear one, like me.
Afterwards we went to Chain to buy some food for the holidays. We bought a big turkey, Christmas logs, Christmas pudding, an Advent calendar with chocolates in it, cakes and many other Christmas food. We bought a new Christmas tree, some tinsil , colouring light, a Christmas father and a Christmas father suit because I like to wear it during the Christmas dinner to deliver presents.
I enjoy days like that day. Although we spent a lot of money, we bought presents to cheer people up.

ReplyDeleteOn the twenty-first of December as usual we went Christmas Shopping. We went all around Malta to shop from Fgura to Birkirkara .with me there was my mum and my brother.
At home we had made a list of the persons, food, decorations and everything else we had to buy. First we went to a book shop. There we bought a book for my oldest cousin and another uncle Mario. Then we went to buy Christmas cards. When we arrived at the pet shop we bought a pot of flowers for our grandma.
Then my brother and I went to buy presents for our parents from a nearby shop. Mum went to buy us our parents and some wrapping paper. The next thing was to buy the ingredients for our Christmas party.
This was a very enyoyable day. I have never done any Christmas shopping before. I’m looking forward for Christmas to give presents and open mine.

ReplyDeleteLast Saturday I went shopping with my mum. Next week it was going to be Christmas and we wanted to buy presents. We went in many different stores and shops like toy shops, book shops and many more. The prices were low and people were struggling to buy the last few toys.
I bought many kinds of presents for my family and even for my friends. I wanted to buy my mum a gorgeous present so I sent her away to buy it. I bought my friends some Christmas cards and at school I gave them to the teacher and he gave the cards to them. I saw so many kinds of things like decorations and in a toy shop I even saw the Christmas father. I smelled so many things like cakes and logs but I especially loved the pudding. I heard some carols that were playing in the streets and in the shops too. There were lots of people.
I didn’t buy only presents, I bought some decorations to decorate my house. I even bought some food for the party I was going to have. This wasn’t my first time because I do it every year. It’s like a traditional occasion for me. I like Christmas shopping very much because I like seeing stuff and spending money.
There were lots of ideas to choose from and at times I couldn’t decide. I enjoyed myself very much as I do always I am really looking forward to give the presents that I bought and I’m looking forward to open the presents that I’m going to receive too.

ReplyDeleteLast Christmas my family and I went shopping. We bought many presents for my family and friends. There were presents but I didn’t have enough money to buy any for my special friend Alistair.
There was a lot of food like puddings, Christmas logs and cakes. I liked their smell them. I saw a Father Christmas so I took some photos with him. I bought a lot of presents from many different shops. I bought a lot of books for my friends and I bought toys for my younger friends.
For my teacher I bought a bottle of wine and a watch. I bought cards to give them to my friends and to my family. Some prices were low but some were too expensive. I found quite difficult what to choose to buy.
I like shopping so I’m looking forward for another Christmas to go and buy presents again.

ReplyDeleteIt was Saturday,December fifteenth and my brother decided to do some Christmas shopping.We went at Main Street in Paola.I went with all the family by my father’s(dad’s) car.
There were lots of people doing their Christmas shopping.I saw many different decorations like lights,Christmas trees and even a chrismas father doll.I heard a lot of Christmas carols in shops and streets.I smelled puddings,cakes and even Christmas logs.We went in many shops like book shops,toy shop,stationary and boutiques.The things that we both are presents for my relatives.
Most of the prices were cheap but some where expensive.When we were buying a present for my uncle I had to choose from two(2) and then I decided to buy him the second one.We bought some food for our Christmas dinner.We bought some decorations for the Christmas tree and we also bought some nice Christmas cards.
This was my first time that we went to do Christmas shopping.I really enjoyed myself and I want to do it every year.That day when we arrived at home we wrapped th presents.I am looking forward to do it another day.

On the second Sunday of the Advent i went Christmas shopping with my best friend.We do this every single year so it s like a trradition for us.We baganm this when we were eight years old and we both hope that we keep doing it.
ReplyDeleteOur favourite shopping complex is Embassy in Valletta.In one of the shops there was an extremely huge sale.90% off on all things said a huge sign that was next to the cashiers.It was crowded with ladies men and kids.All of the presents we bought were from there.
While we were walking by the restaurant we could smell logs puddings an other Christmas food. Soon we passed a shop that was playing Christmas carols.Every siingle shop was decorated with a Christams decoration.I couldn t decide which cards I was going to buy.
I really enjoyed myself during Christmas shopping tradition.I really like Christmas because we can remember when JESUS was born.Im looking forward to see my family s face expressions when they open the presents i Brought for them

ReplyDeleteIt was Saturday and my family and I decided that,that evening we would go to Valletta to do some shopping.In the evening we went to Valletta to buy presents for our family and friends.We went to different shops like toy shops,book shops and confectioneries.In every shop there were slashed prices and every shop we went in was tightly packed.
When we were walking along the street I saw many decorations in the shops and even in the street I heard Christmas carols out in the street and even I could smell Chistmas logs,cakes,pudding and many others.This Christmas shopping wasn’t my first time because every year it’s our tradition.
In every shop there were a lot of sections to choose from.While we were shopping mum told us that we have didn’t any Christmas cards at home so we bought a lot of things example like three boxes of chocolates for my teacher and for my brother’s teachers.We bought many things like a turkey,clothes,toys,books,shoes and every kind of present you can imagine.
I like to go Christmas shopping outside.Unfortunately today many people like to do their Christmas shopping at home on the internet.

ReplyDeleteOne evening in the middle of December me and my family went christmas shopping. We went to Valletta as we always do and there were lots of decorations hanging in the street.
The first shop we visited was well packed-up. It was a decorations shop and we bought some christmas posters that we could stick on the door of our rooms. Then we visited a shop named "Crosscraft". There we bought a hoover for my aunt Beth and a kettle for my aunt Gina.
As I was staring at a wonderful dress in a shop window, my mother and sister went into the shop, bought it and asked the shop salesgirl to wrap it up as a present. So without my noticing, they came out to meeet me in front of the toy shop. There we bought some toys for my cousin who is three years old. Then we went to a book shop and bought some Enid Blyton books who is my cousin's favourite author to give them to her as presents.
Then we bought some tools for my uncles. Time flied and soon it was time to go home.
I like Christmas shopping because there are slashed prices and I am looking forward to give and receive presents.

ReplyDeleteLast year, three weeks before Christmas I went Christmas shopping. Mum accompanied me because she had to buy some things.
As we arrived at Valletta we headed straight to the clothes shop because I wanted to wear a pretty dress at the party. After, we went to the Embassy shopping complex. It was tightly packed with people pushing and shouting. I felt like a snail crawling and afraid that I might be crushed. Finally after what seemed like hours I got out safe and sound. After all that fuss mum told me to go to the book shop while she went to pick a present for my cousins. I obeyed but I knew that she was going to buy a present for me. I know when she doesn't tell me the truth becuase she laughs too loudly.
Later we had some hot-chocolate.We were packed with bags and we were scurrying along the road while people stared becuase mum was fit as a fiddle and hurrying while I was whimpering for a short break. I felt tired and wanted to lie down on a bed and sleep. We bought some decorations. They weren't cheap but they seemed to tell you, "buy me buy me". We bought some Christmas cards and a fancy wrapping paper too.
When we arrived home I was exhausted. I really enjoyed myself because I love the screaming and shouting of people and because the shops were slashing prices. I am really looking forward to give and open presents. Christmas hurry up!

ReplyDeleteWhen Christmas is approaching we always go shopping. We go to buy presents, decorations and food. When I shop I buy for my family, myself and my friends.
I go Christmas shopping with my mother, my father and my brother. We always go to Valletta and visit many shops, especially toy shops and book shops. We do Christmas shopping a week before Christmas. The things we buy do not cost much because usually they are half price.
The shops are always decorated with Christmas lights, Christmas trees and santas even the shop windows are beautifully displayed. The streets are full of colourful flickering lights and tinsil. While mum and dad are buying presents, I together with my brother enjoy this marvellous scene. I like mostly to shop in toy shops, not clothes shops. The toys seem much more attractive at Christmas time and there is much more varity than usual.
It is a traditional outing and I always enjoy myself alot when I go shopping with my family. I am looking foward to go again and am waiting eagerly for Christmas to come so that I can give and open my presents.

About one week before my Christmas my parents and I go Christmas shopping. We used to go to the same shopping complex but this year we went to many different shops.
ReplyDeleteDuring this festive season many people go shopping so many shops are tightly packed with customers. You can see a lot of people arguing about who is going to take the last item of that kind. When you go to the baker you can smell : fresh bread just taken out of the oven, the great smell of Christmas cakes and Christmas logs. In the streets some people sing Christmas carols over speakers and you can even see Father Christmas!
The prices are usually slashed, and everyone likes that. For presents we don’t buy only toys but even food, books, and decorations for home. When it comes to choosing, I have difficulty choosing so I usually buy more than one thing. Last Christmas bought a remote control boat, a book about soccer and a packet of cup cakes.
I always enjoy myself doing Christmas shopping and I feel good about it. Christmas shopping is a tradition for us and after that at Christmas I give presents and open mine!

ReplyDeleteEvery Christmas we go shopping for presents for our family. Last year we went to Poala because we wanted to go to change from our usual place, Valletta. We went there by my father’s car. We arrived there in about ten minutes because it is just a stone’s throw away from my house.
When we entered Poala, we saw a lot of decorations. The bulbs were all different and had fantastic colours. Then we went walking along the street to enter a fashion shop. There were all types of clothes for women. My father and I told my mother to go to buy some sweets. When she went to the sweet shop we bought a smart dress so my mother would not see it.
She showed us the delicious sweets. We walked to a toy shop but we didn’t find a suitable toy for my cousin. Then when we walked to another toyshop and there we saw a Christmas Father. We took a lot of photos with him. In the next toy shop we didn’t find the toy either. Next we went to the third shop and finally we bought a car for my cousin.
When we bought everything we went in the car to go home. I am waiting for Christmas so I can open my presents and give the others their presents too.

A few days ago my mother and I went Christmas shopping. First we started by going to the supermarket to buy some ingredients for the Christmas cake, pudding and log. We also bought some food for the Christmas party.
ReplyDeleteWhen we entered theshop we could smell a lot of pleasant smells. In the supermarket we passed by the butcher shop where the butcher was preparing the meat for Christmas. He was also stuffing a big turkey. Afterwards we went to buy some presents for all the family.
When we were going from one shop toanother my mother noticed that there were lots of slashed prices for Christmas. While we were walking down the street we could see the roads all decorated with Christmas decorations. We also passed across a Father Christmas who was taking photos with little children.
I enjoyed myself very much and I hope that we will keep Christmas shopping as a traditional outing. My mum promised that before Christmas we will go Christmas shopping again.

ReplyDeleteLast Christmas I went shopping for presents and decotations for the Christmas party.I went with my aunty Lora.We went to Valletta because there are so many shops and big malls.We went there by bus.The party was going to be at my house.I was happy because it was my first time having a Christmas party at my house.
There were many shops selling clothes,books and toys.There were confectioneries too and lots ofideas to choose from.I had a list of what my family lovED.My mum loves books my dad loves models of boats and my brother loves toys and games.We first had to go to buy decorations so we went into the decoration shop.I had to buy tinsil for school.We bought a small Chrisymas tree,lights for the Christmas tree,tinsil,baloons and a cute snow man
After that we went to the book shop I bought four books for my mother and a book mark with it of a christmas father.I saw many books suitable for my mother but I couldn't afford more than 50.00c because I had to buy presents for my dad and brother too.Then I went along the streets to find the toy store and thenmusic began to play.They were my favourite Christmas carols.I smelled puddings and Christmas logs.Next we found the toy store and there were wonderful toys.Ichose a car and a puzzle of the film ''Cars''.I spent 30.00c because the books were 10.00c each.
Later on we went to the shop that had models for sale.There were all kinds of models like cars, aeroplanes,boats and more.I only had 20.00c left so I bought my father something within my budget.Ichose a miniature boat called Trophy.I'm looking foword to give the presents to my family and sing together Christmas carols.HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Last week was the first time I went Christmas shopping .it was Christmas Eve and we had to buy some presents for all our family .I was looking forward for this long awaited day .I was very happy to help my mother because shopping is my favourite hobby.
ReplyDeleteFinally the day came and an air of excitement to board that would take us to Paceville.when we arrived at our destination I couldn’t believe my eyes .What a crowd! Everywhere was full of people and everyone had to wait their turn to pay for the items they had taken .My mother said that we were going to the Baystreet shopping mall .She also told me that there ,we could find the best prices. All the streets were cobwebbed with bright coloured lights.
I glanced at one of the stores and I spotted an old looking man .It was Father Christmas! He was taking some photos with some kids .I raced to take a photo with him as well .I was in high spirits to see how I looked in the photo. I bought a remote control car for my brother because he always wishes he had one .My mum bought me some clothes so I could wear them on Christmas day.
Time went by quickly and before I knew it ,it was twelve o’clock .when we counted the money we were almost broke .I think that it won’t be the last time I will go Christmas shopping .Christmas shopping is very exciting because with all the presents you give to other people you cheer them up.

ReplyDeleteA week before Christmas we went Christmas shopping.We went to many shops and we saw many people rushing in and out of shops.The shops we went to were toy shops,Chain supermarket and many more.
Before I went shopping mum came with me.While we were walking we saw many decorations in the streets.The first stop was at the decoration shop so we could buy more lights and more stuff for the crib.When we came out of the shop a man dressed up as Christmas father asked us if we wanted to donate money to charity.
Next we went to a toy shop but I can`t remember the shop`s name.Mum did`t let me go in because she was buying presents for the whole family.After we went to Chain supermarket to buy the turkey and the ingredients we needed for the christmas log.The prices were cheap for Christmas.From Chain supermarket we even bought a packet of christmas card.This was my first time going Christmas shopping.I am looking forward to open my gift.I enjoyed myself very much and am looking forward to do Christmas shopping next year.

ReplyDeleteLaset week I went Christmas shopping with my family. We went to Galleria Complex. We went there because there are lots of shops in it.
When we arrived I was really impressed. The Galleria Complex was crowded with people. The shops were already decorated and most items were at half price. My dad and I went to a perfumery and bought mum a lovely smelling perfume. The shopkeeper put it in a little red box and wrapped it with a Christmas wrapping paper and made a beautiful golden bow. My sister and I went to looking in a bookshop. Next my dad nad mum went to a toy shop to buy us presents while we were looking for a magazine for dad.
Suddenly my sister Nicole showted that she saw Father Christmas. I hurredly paid the shopkeeper the money and went near him. Mum and Dad were closing the door. Nicole went to them and begged them to have a photo with Father Christmas. They gave us Eur2 each. We had a photo with him and two more with both of us. We were really tired and went to have a cup of coffee. Mum suddenly went to a jewellery shop and bought dad a silver braclet. When we paid we went inside the lift and up to the clothes shop. Mum and dad bought some clothes and jewellery for our family. Then we went home.
It was a great day for me. That day was my first day doing Christmas shopping because usually mum and dad do all the shopping. I wish that next year I can go again.

The festive season was at the door and my parents had Christmas shopping to do.They asked me if I wanted to accompany them,needless to say I accepted the wonderful offer.
ReplyDeleteMum prepared an endless list of what we needed to buy.Once ready we went to Valletta to start buying all the stuff we needed.Mum bought Christmas decorations such as red ribbon ,colourful balls and twinkling lights for the Christmas tree.Dad wanted to buy some new clothes and so he did.I wished that I could buy a new football but I could not afford it.
Time passed quickly and we still had lots of shopping to do.We bought cakes, sweets, chocolates and biscuits from the confectionery.Mum managed to buy presents for the whole family too, such as toys for my younger brothers,clothes for the grannies and a wonderful frame for our neighbours.
After a whole morning entering all types of shops and buying all sort of things we all felt exhausted.Mum and I were very happy that we managed to tick nearly all the listed things.On the other hand dad was not that happy because he had to carry all the bags to the car and above all his wallet was exhausted too.
